Welcome
Hello and welcome to the Poor Sisters of Jesus Crucified and the Sorrowful Mother. I would like to show you around our motherhouse.

Here in Brockton, Massachusetts. We are on the outskirts of the city. The campus has the main convent, chaplain's house, a 123 bed nursing home, an adult day health center. Our grounds are rather extensive and there is room to expand our ministries in the area. Of course, in order to extend our ministries and further our Mission we look forward to women who would be interested in sharing our vision and our life as Sisters of Jesus Crucified and the Sorrowful Mother.

The Sisters of Jesus Crucified have served the Church for over 80 years in the ministries of education and healthcare.

What is necessary to enter the Poor Sisters of Jesus Crucified and the Sorrowful Mother? A sincere desire to serve God and His people and a budding devotion to our Crucified Savior and His Sorrowful Mother.

- The emotional and intellectual maturity for making a permanent commitment to God within a religious community.
- A high school education or its equivalent.
- Some college or work experience is desirable.
- General good health, an untiring spirit, a sense of humor and a love for people.
